This contemporary set-up is located at, Landau Forte Academy on Ashby Road in Tamworth.
The award-winning Fitness Junction was set up by Tamworth personal trainers, Simon McNeilly and Andy Dolan who have equipped their unique gym and personal training experience on traditional and modern methods. The Fitness Junction Ltd was formed in 2015 and started training clients out of shipping containers on open land, after moving to a disused mill in 2016 they later relocated to an industrial unit to be closer to the town centre. They have completed their market positioning to feature in the heart of the historic town of Tamworth at the excellent facilities at Landau Forte.

With cardiovascular machines ranging from tread mills, cross trainers, recline bikes, Concept2 indoor rowers , Concept2 SkiErgs (indoor Nordic Ski machine), Bulldog Gear Airbikes, agility ladders, agility hoops and a variety of skipping ropes.
The strength and conditioning equipment ranges from over 10 metres of astro turf for sled push including weighted sled and Bulldog Gear sleds, battle ropes, slam balls, Escape Fitness sand bags, a variety of kettle bells, Reebock step decks, grip bags, stackable plyometric UK soft plyo set, foam rollers. Strength and conditioning is a very effective way to improve your body by losing body fat and defining muscle at the same time.
The gym has a variety of resistance machines ranging from plate loaded flat chest press, plate loaded T bar row, shoulder press, cable crossover, lat pull down, prone bench, 45 degree plate loaded leg press, tummy toning machines, glute/hamstring developer, calf raiser, free standing 8 squat station rig with monkey bars, dead lifting bars including hex bars, seated preacher curl bench, bicep curl, free weights area with dumbbells ranging from 1kg – 50kg. Bison colour bumper weights, varied resistance bands and a variety of adjustable benches.
Catering for all fitness needs the gym houses traditional fitness machines as well as accommodating designated space for Functional Training exercises. These are designed to use basic functional movement patterns to train your muscles to work together in one movement. Multiple muscle movement makes the exercises more effective as well as gaining more strength and loosing body fat and weight loss, improving overall health.
